Kitchener–Waterloo · Receipts & insurance

How receipts and insurance actually work here.

You pay, then claim — here's exactly how that works, and why it's set up that way.

The short version

You pay, then claim — a receipt for every treatment.

Most extended health plans cover registered massage therapy, and an official RMT receipt is issued for every treatment so you can submit it yourself.

Why there's no direct billing here

An honest answer, not a policy page.

The way I've set up this practice, I'm not able to offer direct billing here, the way I can at my other clinic. I do send RMT receipts promptly for you to submit directly to your provider — but with the caseload I carry at Fearless Heart, there isn't the administrative time between clients to run direct billing properly.

I'd genuinely like to offer more here, and I'm sorry to fall short on that one.

Every treatment comes with an official RMT receipt for your extended health plan.

If you're on a membership plan

A held credit isn't a treatment — until it's used.

A missed-month charge is held on your account as a credit, not billed as a treatment. When you use it — for any appointment, paying the difference for a longer one — a receipt is issued at that point for you to submit.
