Massage therapy built for lifters, by a lifter.
I've been weightlifting seriously for ten years, alongside a background in sports therapy and surgical rehab — this isn't a general practice that also happens to do sports massage.
Why this is different
I'm not guessing at what heavy training does to a body.
I've been doing relatively heavy weightlifting for the last ten years, and I draw on a real wealth of personal knowledge when it comes to functional movement patterns — building and changing the way you engage during a lift to reduce injury risk, move more weight, and actually improve how lifting feels. That's alongside a sports-therapy and surgical-rehab foundation, not instead of it.
What it actually addresses
Compensation patterns, before they become an injury.
In deep tissue work, we're working on relaxing muscle and fascia. If you're having trouble with a particular range of motion, or find yourself compensating for a mobility restriction by leaning on the wrong muscles or movement patterns, you're likely heading toward an injury along that path. With a real background in both weightlifting and deep tissue work, I'm well equipped to help you work through it.
Heading into a heavy block? Ninety minutes to two hours gives time to work through more than one area properly.
Book nowWherever you are in your lifting
Beginner or years in, I'm happy to help.
As a rough starting point: weekly or biweekly through a heavy training block, settling to every three or four weeks once things are stable. Ninety minutes to two hours gives enough time to work through more than one area properly — your actual schedule is something we figure out together.
